Stanislaw Barszczak, Kedy noc nie zapada.

Oprócz win własnych innego prawdziwego nieszczęścia nie mamy. To dystopijna wizja swiata, obecnie apokaliptyczna wrecz. Wołasz Boga, On często schodzi po kryjomu. „Sukces w biznesie wymaga treningu, dyscypliny i ciężkiej pracy. To powiedział przedsiebiorca. “Ten może deptać węże, głaskać lwy i tury, kto wyrwał z siebie żądło, rogi i pazury,”powiedzial poeta. Zatem chronie sie w światło polskosci, bom pełen winy, znam blask zachodu wszelkiego, alem go jeszcze go nie ujrzał w sercach czlowieczych. “Nasz naród jak lawa, z wierzchu zimna i twarda, sucha i plugawa; Lecz wewnętrznego ognia sto lat nie wyziębi, plwajmy na tę skorupę i zstąpmy do głębi,” to poeta. Tak wiec w oparciu o serca bicie zmienny teraz Polski oblicze.

Old ship off Bulgaria Coast

Scientists Find 2,400-Year-Old Ship off Bulgaria Coast.
Scientists have announced on October 23, 2018 the discovery of what they described as “the oldest intact shipwreck” on the bottom of the Black Sea off the coast of Bulgaria. A team of British and Bulgarian scientists from the Black Sea Maritime Archaeological Project, MAP announced the discovery of what they deem to be “the oldest intact shipwreck” on the seabed off the northern Black Sea coast of Bulgaria. The ship, which is currently believed to be of Ancient Greek origin, is estimated to be 2,400 years of age. “With a small piece of the vessel radiocarbon dated to 400 BC, it is confirmed as the oldest intact shipwreck known to mankind,” it added. The reason why the vessel has been so well preserved is because of the lack of oxygen at a depth of about two kilometres, the scientists believe. The Black Sea is considered to be one of the world’s finest underwater laboratories due to its anoxic (un-oxygenated) layer which preserves artefacts better than any other marine environment.
The Black Sea MAP project is a collaboration between the University of Southampton in Britain and the Bulgarian Centre for Underwater Archaeology, an independent institute under the the Ministry of Culture, as well as National Archaeological Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. It is running for a fourth consecutive year from the Norwegian ship Havila Subsea and its purpose is to remotely investigate the seabed with the use of sonar and deep-sea diving ROVs (remotely operated vehicles).
“Never before have the Bulgarian waters of the Black Sea been investigated on this scale,” the project outline says. “Maritime archaeology and marine geophysics will work together recording, dating and understanding the submerged cultural heritage of Bulgaria, contributing to our knowledge of the prehistoric and historic environmental record of human activity in this region,” it adds. Stanislaw Barszczak, Halo, Wielki Swiat!_
Mamy Prawo i Sprawiedliwość. W Europie bijemy sie o tańsza energię, a jeszcze tańsza kulturę. Nastoletni zolniez hitlerowski cieszyl sie, jak ustrzelil Niemca, to pokazuj film “Most”, z czasu II Wojny Swiatowej. Przyspieszylismy prace…Ale siedzę juz w polskiej kantynie, ludzie stworzyli mi wspaniała atmosferę do rozmowy. Posluchajcie jej, jakkolwiek są różne poziomy czytania i pisania życia. W mlodosci wpadalem na szalone pomysly… Mama chciala, zebym dobrze sie uczyl. Bardzo rzadko w domu byla napieta atmosfera. W szkole sredniej i wyzszej pracowalem bardzo solidnie, i to mnie pochlanialo calkowicie. Nadeszly najpiekniejsze lata kaplanstwa. Przy Ksiedzu Piotrze Polaczku nauczylem sie tworzyc wewnetrzne pejzaze, zaglebiac w mroczne katy duszy, przywolywac skrajne emocje. Choc oczywiscie jako 20-, 30-latek ciagle chcialem grac i wydawalo mi sie, ze moglbym wiecej. Marzylem, by odpoczac na parafii, ale malo mialem takich okazji. Szukalem wiec innej drogi. Analizujac toksyczne relacje ksiezy- towarzyszow kaplanskiej drogi, stwierdzilem, že dramat ludzki pokaze z dystansem. Poza parafia robie cos swojego najchetniej, to daje mi poczucie własnej wartości. Hodowalem nawet kury i króliki. Sytuacja poprawiła sie, kiedy pi raz pierwszy pojechałem do Rzymu. Zobaczyłem kawałek wolnego swiata. Zwiedzilem Niemcy, Włochy, a ja glodowalem, by zapomoge ksiezowska przeznaczyc na bilety powrotne do ojczyzny. Uwielbiam historie, zwiedzanie. Lubie sportowe buty i rower. Mam jeszcze sporo energii i świetnie czuje sie w swoim ciele. Każdemu więc polecam te firmę terapii. Wierzę w milosc, i jeszcze w Boga wierzę. Przepraszam, nieraz mam. I wyjeżdżam… Do Kalkuty. Stoję na słynnym moście Howrah, którym dziennie przechodzi 15 milionów ludzi. Znajduje sie na srodku Gangesu, w jedną i druga stronę płynie bosy tłum, ludzie niosą na głowach kosze, tobolki, dobytek całego życia. Trwam tak pół godziny zaledwie. Odczuwam spokoj, znow mam w sobie zgodę na swiat i wtedy wracam. Zawsze chciałem być wielki. Wydawało sie, że najszybciej i najłatwiej da sie to osiagnac, zdobywając sławę i pieniądze. Jak sie okazało – był z tym kłopot. Zawsze chciałem gotowac, ktora to sztuke porownalbym raczej do malarstwa, ale o tym powiem Wam innegi pewnego a świątecznego wieczoru. cdn.

Poles fate

Eternal song tells about polish destiny. Somewhere in a foreign land, they wander through rock and sand, far from home and fair game, 100 men and he’s there as well 100 men and one command and a way that no one wants, day in, day out, to who knows where, burned land and what’s the use? All alone in the dark night, you have often thought about it, that far from here the full moon shines and far from here a young girl cries. And the world is still so beautiful. If I could see you just once. Now separating us already a long year, because a command was our doom. At random the fate strikes down. Today him and tomorrow you. I hear from afar the crows cawing in the dawn, why does that have to be?… The Polish 2nd Corps became a major tactical and operational unit of the Polish Armed Forces in the West. Anders commanded the Corps throughout the Italian Campaign, capturing Monte Cassino on 18 May 1944, later fighting on the Gothic Line and in the final spring offensive….So, at every time there were outstanding people in Poland. Władysław Albert Anders (11 August 1892 – 12 May 1970) was a general in the Polish Army and later in life a politician and prominent member of the Polish government-in-exile in London. Birth name Władysław Albert Anders born 11 August 1892
Krośniewice-Błonie, Warsaw Governorate, Kingdom of Poland, Russian Empire; Died 12 May 1970 (aged 77) London, England.

Irgendwo im fremden Land

Anders was born on 11 August 1892 to his father Albert Anders and mother Elizabeth (maiden name Tauchert) in the village of Krośniewice–Błonie, sixty miles west of Warsaw, in what was then a part of the Russian Empire. At the time of his birth Poland did not exist as an independent state, as a result of the Partitions of Poland at the end of the eighteenth century.
Both his parents were of Baltic-German origin and he was baptised as a member of the Protestant Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland. Anders had three brothers – Karol, Tadeusz and Jerzy, all of whom also went on to pursue careers in the military. Anders attended a technical high school in Warsaw and later studied at Riga Technical University, where he became a member of the Polish student fraternity Arkonia. After graduation Anders was accepted into the Russian Military School for reserve officers. As a young officer, he served in the 1st Krechowiecki Lancers Regiment of the Imperial Russian Army during World War I. When Poland regained independence in November 1918 he joined the newly created Polish Army. During the Polish – Soviet War he commanded the 15th Poznań Uhlans Regiment and was awarded the Silver Cross of the Virtuti Militari. After the war Anders continued his military education in France at the Ecole Superieur de Guerre and upon graduation he returned to Poland, where he served on the general staff of the Polish Army under General Tadeusz Jordan-Rozwadowski. Anders opposed Józef Piłsudski’s coup d’état in Poland in 1926 but unlike Jordan-Rozwadowski, he avoided persecution by the Sanation regime that assumed power after the coup. Piłsudski made him the commander of a cavalry brigade in 1931 and he was promoted to the rank of general three years later.
Anders commanded the Nowogródzka Cavalry Brigade during the German Army’s invasion of Poland in September 1939 and was immediately called into action, taking part in the Battle of Mława. After the collapse of the Polish Northern Front the brigade withdrew towards Warsaw, and also fought heavy battles against the Germans around Minsk Mazowiecki and in the second phase of the Battle of Tomaszów Lubelski. After learning about the Soviet invasion of Poland, Anders retreated south in the direction of Lwów (now called Lviv), hoping to reach the Hungarian or Romanian border, but was intercepted by Soviet forces and captured on 29 September, after being wounded twice. He was initially jailed in Lwów and subsequently transferred to the Lubyanka prison in Moscow on 29 February 1940. During his imprisonment Anders was interrogated, tortured and unsuccessfully urged to join the Russian Army. After the launch of Operation Barbarossa and the signing of the Sikorski-Maisky agreement, Anders was released by the Soviets with the aim of forming a Polish Army to fight against the Germans alongside the Red Army. Continued friction with the Soviets over political issues as well as shortages of weapons, food and clothing, led to the eventual evacuation of Anders’ men – known as Anders’ Army – together with a sizeable contingent of Polish civilians who had been deported to the USSR from Soviet-occupied Poland, via the Persian Corridor into Iran, Iraq, and finally into Mandatory Palestine. The evacuation, which took place in March 1942, was based on the British-Soviet-Polish understanding. The soldiers involved were evacuated from the Soviet Union and made their way through Iran to British-ruled Palestine, where they passed under British command. Here, Anders formed and led the Polish 2nd Corps, while continuing to agitate for the release of Polish nationals still in the Soviet Union. The Polish 2nd Corps became a major tactical and operational unit of the Polish Armed Forces in the West. Anders commanded the Corps throughout the Italian Campaign, capturing Monte Cassino on 18 May 1944, later fighting on the Gothic Line and in the final spring offensive.
After the war the Soviet-installed communist government of Poland deprived him of Polish citizenship and of his military rank. Anders had, however, always been unwilling to return to a Soviet-dominated Poland where he probably would have been jailed and possibly executed, and remained in Britain. He was prominent in the Polish Government in Exile in London and became inspector-general of the Polish forces-in-exile, as well as working on behalf of various charities and welfare organisations. His book about his experiences during the Second World War, An Army in Exile, was first published by MacMillan & Co, London, in 1949. He died in London on 12 May 1970, where his body lay in state at the church of Andrzej Bobola, and many of his former soldiers and their families came to pay their last respects. He was buried, in accordance with his wishes, amongst his fallen soldiers from the 2nd Polish Corps at the Polish War Cemetery at Monte Cassino in Italy. After the collapse of communist rule in Poland in 1989, his citizenship and military rank were posthumously reinstated. Many personal effects which once belonged to Anders are on display in the Polish Institute and Sikorski Museum in London.(see, Wikipedia by internet)

We are people, we believe in

The man never before in history did return to his home, Yes to the home of the Father or Mother, but never home on his/her own. I believe in God. I also want to come back at this strategic era. Time passes quickly, I’m writing a new character in history of humankind, like Claudius, Luise, and Mister Holmes. Between the two extremes, between the abyss and the extreme use of physics (see, immanence) is a special space on my own. Why is it rather something than nothing? Why is there nothing, why the universe exists? For example, the man standing here is already satisfying for me, some professor had spoken. See, the words in Deutsch like
Kontrolverlust, Schaten Jahre, Koherenz Gefull, erkenne dich selbst. So, Reiner Maria Rilke, it’s like music. Yaval Noach Harrari, poverty and elite, he said about it. So, I have a bad impression never. For instance, I’m reading Michel
Ondati, Kriegslicht. It is like
Hans Cartop identification by Thomas Mann, like ecological collaps on the other side. I want not to be a Spionage in the world of contemporary. Recently I have watched on the chinise television a beautiful program.
Play erhu, violin, the pipa, piano, gukin, sanxian, hongaku, gakaku,
Csardas danse, a man had told about it. So, this is my dream, get to the next generations something has survived time, a tradition, something that still worked well. We need to expand the style of the game, we want to create “new” as legacies for future generations. We want something new. So, the right turns into simplicity. The morning sun is the only sight, Į think, here the condor flies over the Sierra Madre del Sur. Listen … You can see the wonderful color of hot, dressed heroes caught, on the fourth day of interrogation. Į want, you take me by the hand … someday you’ll tell me, you do not know if you still love me. One day you will discover that in my eyes there is no daylight to come back, to soothe my cry, I sing to you, my nobody, yes. You tell me that you would like to do everything again, because you love me. For all eyes of the stars and all glow I’m telling you always, “those were the days”.
You know, this island is, it’s somewhere close, believe me and help me find it. There, no one plants barbed trees, coniferous trees, and wherever the stars are falling, you must believe me that there is such an island, the sea will be the house, the roof. And you are with me here, this island is, my face is. Where the green meadows, and the boys are. The boys look at the white clouds … Only the rain. Į see Jesus at once, from my youth, I had the whole world, I lived with love for my brother, and the poor, gypsy, weary. There were so many stars falling for us, I loved it for the first time. Is it a good road or a bad gypsy note with us. In autumn, somebody stole our dreams and loved us somewhere else. A hint of a note, we hustle for what it will give, and you and me…Contract experience and real experience is something differend. We are puzzling, rationality is the last word, somebody said. In Jesus Christ God spoke the decisive word (see, the God revelation). In Jesus, God is alive. I am expressing the decisive word of God. For God the Father spoke himself in his son, Jesus Christ. But let us be careful now. (See, attention by K.Barth). What is your attention to the Gospel? The “time of change” only, but also very important. You see another time, Panic on Wall Street, which caused a democratic system. How to save a banker? Mr President, does evidence undermine religion?
The EU is a Threat to Democracy. The English (Nation) are not interested in the wedding of the granddaughter of the queen today. So, what do you think about it, see you later.

Buchmesse Frankfurt 2018

Archil Kikodze’s unusual route into book publishing… Archil Kikodze’s début novel, he says, has “nothing and everything” to do with the Russians and the former Soviet Union. The book was released by Georgia’s largest publisher Sulakauri last year, and was popular at the tills and a critical smash, nabbing best novel prizes at the prestigious IliaUni and Litera awards. It has not yet been picked up in the English language -that may change after this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair- but the title translates to “Southern Elephant”. On the surface, then, it appears to have little to do with Georgia’s bellicose neighbour and former occupier. The action is relatively simple, taking place in a single day. A filmmaker wanders the streets of Tbilisi because he has lent his flat to a pal for the day, facilitating his friend’s tryst with a girlfriend. As the narrator rambles through the capital city, he remembers incidents from his life and confronts demons from his own past. So far, so Ulysses. But Kikodze uses the narrator’s personal experiences to subtly look at the often fraught past 40 years of Georgian history, with the Russian bear very much ever-present in the background. Yet, perhaps the most excoriating passages are aimed at his fellow Georgians. Kikodze says: “I wrote the book this way because it is so uninteresting if you say, ‘Russia is a bad country, it is a Mafia state and they are all bad people.’ I think the moral difficulties of collaboration are so much more interesting than viewing someone, or some country, purely as the enemy. That’s why in ‘Southern Elephant’, and most of my fiction, I tend to write about everyday experiences, because even the big political issues are only experienced on a personal level.” Kikodze archly points out that many Georgians were fully engaged with the Soviet state, and at the highest levels – Stalin, famously, was Georgian, as was Uncle Joe’s right-hand man, the notorious secret police chief Lavrentiy Beria. And even when the break of the USSR came in the 1990s, Kikodze says his fellow countrymen did not all exactly join hands in harmony: “I think it was something of a test for our society, and one we did not pass. We had achieved independence, but we were not really ready for it. It was the time of angry nationalism, civil war, ethnic conflicts and war trauma.” Lofty comparisons “Southern Elephant” is definitely a city novel, and in reviews it has been compared to the heavyweight urban fiction of the 20th-century modernist masters James Joyce and Marcel Proust. Kikodze has had plenty of time for his research, having lived in Tbilisi for most of his 46 years. His education has been eclectic, first getting a degree in Asian and Middle Eastern studies at Tbilisi State University, and later going to the national theatre and film school at Shota Rustaveli State University. (Rustaveli was a medieval Georgian poet, and is one of the giants of the country’s literature.) Though “Southern Elephant” is Kikodze’s first novel, he has been publishing short stories, essays and articles since the tender age of 21, when he won a literary prize for short fiction. Despite the relatively early success, he “never had a real call to write when I was younger, though I read a lot. Perhaps the notion of becoming a professional writer made me feel uncomfortable.” So, a life by Kikodze. And there are his less artistic endeavours, too. In his late teens and early twenties, Kikodze caught the hiking bug, a passion which continues to this day. He has written three books on walking in Georgia’s mountains and national parks and a significant part of his income comes from his work as a guide for eco-tourism expeditions. There is a bit of irony that some Georgian writers might have actually been a tad better off financially in Soviet times. If one passed muster with the authorities (although doing so was dicey, and the criteria ever-changing) there were opportunities for state support. Kikodze says: “The system did give us several great authors in the Soviet era. But because of the restrictions, they often had to limit themselves to historical novels. So there was something of a sameness about the work that was being produced. Of course, those books were often about the present day, but you had to read between the lines. Today, Georgian literature can be big and epic, or it can be small and personal. There is a diversity that we haven’t had for so long, and we can finally face up to our own country’s problems.” Beloved reader, in this Fall you may also read as follows:The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris, In a House of Lies by Ian Rankin, This is Going to Hurt by Adam Kay, War of the Wolf by Bernard Cornwell, An Unsuitable Match by Joanna Trollope, A Better Me by Gary Barlow, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman, What Monster? by Liz Pichon… As you know at the Leipzig Book Fair, Georgia, the Guest of Honour at this year’s Frankfurter Buchmesse, celebrated the launch of its literature programme, which consists of numerous events across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Now “Georgia – Made by Characters” has come up with something for the start of its bookselling campaign too: The Guest of Honour is inviting booksellers to literary and culinary evenings being held in Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich in May. These evenings will revolve around the country’s literature, and guests will also learn about the various elements of the bookselling campaign and how they can benefit from Georgia’s Guest of Honour appearance. Georgian authors Ana Kordzaia-Samadashvili (Who Killed Chaika?, Hans Schiler Verlag) and Davit Gabunia (Colours of the Night, Rowohlt Berlin) will be giving a short introduction on their country’s literature and will read from books by selected Georgian authors. In addition, the head chef, Luka Nachkebia, will be offering a little introduction to Georgian cuisine. Georgian specialities and Georgian wine will give guests a taste of Georgia itself… What else, at this year is a black year in Catalonia. So, I’m also losing control on the world in this strategic era. But I wanted to maintain dialog, see better Europe, giving structure for that , process of law…Though they have not right. I think, we need to express our strategy, clearly possibility managing social and personal thing, to take decision… Because we are expressing , they have not giving ask…This is like trying to find new path… Freedom, democracy, respect of our personal law…We do no have majority of voices in Catalonia, somebody said. 45 % inhabitants for independence only. Society divided in Catalonia. 45% Cathalonians see prosperity in Spain. They do not should any Catalonia. See other separate movements in Europe. You have to enlarge democracy. This is my duty, task.

health for us

Again heroes time… My writing is my Golden bridge… You can see Glyfada plaza, Garitsa Mole beach in Korfu City. We are political crisis now, maybe crisis of virtues. In Bridge film young boy of Nazi Germany time kills the enemy and is happy about this fact. What is a matter here, it’s a global issue in our strategic era, I think. So, more progress needed in this matter. A deal is achievable for us in this differend time, I agree. According to the virtues you have to take educational progress now. For this reason I have a difficult situation in Poland. Then, the EU is threat for democracy, they do believe. Agreement unlikely at this question in future… I but do not wait for that. I’m creating myself and do writing unfortunately bad a story of humankind only. Recently I’ve been in Croatia, those were the days… Write to me about yourself.

Ring Parable, p

Nathan the Wise (original German title: Nathan der Weise) is a play published by Gotthold Ephraim Lessing in 1779. It is a fervent plea for religious tolerance. Its performance was forbidden by the church during Lessing’s lifetime, and it was first performed in 1783. Set in Jerusalem ca. 1192 during the Third Crusade, it describes how the wise Jewish merchant Nathan, the enlightened sultan Saladin, and the (initially anonymous) Templar bridge their gaps between Judaism, Islam and Christianity. Its major themes are friendship, tolerance, relativism of God, a rejection of miracles and a need for communication. The centerpiece of the work is the “Ring Parable” (I have heard it many years ago), narrated by Nathan when asked by Saladin which religion is true: an heirloom ring with the magical ability to render its owner pleasing in the eyes of God and mankind had been passed from father to the son he loved most. When it came to a father of three sons whom he loved equally, he promised it (in “pious weakness”) to each of them. Looking for a way to keep his promise, he had two replicas made, which were indistinguishable from the original, and gave on his deathbed a ring to each of them. The brothers quarreled over who owned the real ring. A wise judge admonished them that it was impossible to tell at that time – that it even could not be discounted that all three rings were replicas, the original one having been lost at some point in the past; that to find out whether one of them had the real ring it was up to them to live in such a way that their ring’s powers could prove true, to live a life that is pleasant in the eyes of God and mankind rather than expecting the ring’s miraculous powers to do so. Nathan compares this to religion, saying that each of us lives by the religion we have learned from those we respect. I would be a father in the EU and gave other rings to two other sons in Europe, let us say to the Italians and the Germans. After many years, it would turn out that one of the sons of England, Germany or Italy received the happiest ring, according to the story of Nathan the Wise.
