Los Angeles saw the plane first, then got to know them in detail in the second stage of my trip in California. Most of the companies, fearing the high taxes levied by the city, has moved its headquarters to nearby cities and towns, where taxes are lower. Despite the transfer of its corporate headquarters utilize the huge ready market in Los Angeles. The largest corporations have their headquarters in the suburbs, include: Shakey’s Pizza (the Alhambra), Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (Beverly Hills), City National Bank (Beverly Hills), Hilton Hotels (Beverly Hills), DIC Entertainment (Burbank), The Walt Disney Company (Burbank), Warner Brothers (Burbank), Countrywide Financial Corporation (Calabasas), THQ (Calabasas), Belkin (Compton), National Public Radio West (Culver City), Sony Pictures Entertainment (Culver City), Computer Sciences Corporation (El Segundo), DirecTV (El Segundo ), Mattel (El Segundo), Unocal (El Segundo), DreamWorks SKG (Glendale), Sea Launch (Long Beach), ICANN (Marina Del Rey), Cunard Line (Santa Clarita), Princess Cruises (Santa Clarita), Activision ( Santa Monica) and RAND (Santa Monica). I came to Los Angeles by the Los Angeles International Airport (International Airport Los Angeles – LAX). He is also the gateway to California and northern Mexico. Los Angeles is famous for its many hours of police chases. Difficulty in catching the criminals are caused by a very extensive network of urban streets and highways. In the second Olympics Poland, under pressure from the Soviet Union did not participate as a result of retaliation for the boycott of the Moscow Olympics in 1980 in protest against the war in Afghanistan. During his stay in Los Angeles, the pilots of our group wanted to drive us to the district of Glendale, a high hill with a sweeping view of the city located at the bottom. Personally, I only saw this place on the Internet. Hill called the Forest Lawn Memorial Parks, and is actually a cemetery.
